Privacy Policy
Last updated: January 9, 2026
CalendarBridge ("we", "our", or "the extension") is a browser extension that helps you sync Skool community calendar events to Google Calendar. This privacy policy explains how we handle your information.
Summary
- All your data is stored locally in your browser
- We do not operate servers or databases
- We do not collect, transmit, or sell your personal information
- Google Calendar access is used only to sync events you explicitly select
Information We Access
Skool Calendar Data
When you visit a Skool community calendar page, CalendarBridge reads event information (titles, dates, times, descriptions) from the page content. This data is:
- Stored locally in your browser's IndexedDB storage
- Never transmitted to any server we operate
- Used only to display events in the extension and sync to Google Calendar
Google Calendar Access
If you choose to sync events to Google Calendar, the extension requests permission to:
- Create calendar events in your Google Calendar
- Read your calendar list to let you choose which calendar to sync to
- Update or delete events that were previously synced by CalendarBridge
This access is handled through Google's OAuth 2.0 authentication. Your Google credentials are never seen or stored by CalendarBridge—authentication is managed entirely by Google and Chrome's identity APIs.
CalendarBridge's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy , including the Limited Use requirements.
Information We Do Not Collect
CalendarBridge does not collect, store, or transmit:
- Personal identification information
- Email addresses
- Google account information
- Usage analytics or telemetry
- Browsing history (beyond detecting Skool calendar pages)
- Any data to external servers
Data Storage
All extension data is stored locally in your browser using IndexedDB. This includes:
- Scraped calendar events from Skool
- Community metadata (names, URLs)
- Your extension settings and preferences
- Sync status (which events have been synced to Google Calendar)
This data never leaves your browser except when you explicitly sync events to Google Calendar.
Data Retention
Your data remains in your browser until you choose to delete it. You can:
- Clear all data using the "Clear All Data" option in extension settings
- Export your data as JSON before clearing
- Remove specific communities from tracking
- Uninstall the extension to remove all stored data
